In person workshops are available for those local to Chicago and the surrounding area, but virtual is an option, too.

Don’t even worry about it for one second! Calligraphy is less “writing” and more “drawing shapes and forming them into letters. We will spend plenty of time getting you comfortable with the pen and shapes so by the time you’re reading to start letters and words you have a solid foundation for success.

That’s a cool fact! Instruction will be tailored to left handed students, if needed.

All students will receive a workbook to walk you through the learning process and continue practicing at home. Brush pens will also be provided.

Private workshops start at $350 for 8 guests, with additional guests starting at $35/person.

Generally 2 hours. Enough time to learn all of the techniques and get some practice, but wraps up before people get bored!
